Appearing on the web is not luck, but planning. The vast majority of electricians that we interviewed are great at their work and are unnoticed by Google. That would be an issue when somebody in the same room requires a sparky immediately and you are down on page three.
Fast changes in local SEO
We concentrate on locating electrical businesses at the very point where customers are already searching. Your Google Business Profile, local citations, and on-page content all combine to work together and when done correctly, the phone rings more frequently.
Consider your web site like a 24/7 salesperson. It is a brochure that no one reads without appropriate optimisation. We do that by targeting location-specific keywords that are entered by real customers and not jargon that sounds great but does not convert anybody. Fewer jobs, less running after. That’s the point.
You have years to perfect your art. That effort should be reflected in your online presence, and then begin to work as hard as you do.

AUTHOR
Marcel Giles came up watching skilled tradespeople get buried on page three by companies with worse work and better marketing, and it’s bugged him ever since. He specializes in local search strategy that skips the jargon and focuses on what actually gets the phone ringing—Google Business Profile, service-area targeting, content real customers search for. When he’s not knee-deep in rankings data, he’s usually taking something apart at home just to see how it works. Marcel’s approach is simple: if you’re good enough to trust with someone’s wiring, you’re good enough to rank for it.
Sandra Shah
AUTHOR
Sandra Shah has spent years untangling the mess between “being great at electrical work” and “actually showing up when someone searches for it.” She’s obsessed with the small stuff that moves the needle—citation consistency, review velocity, the exact wording that makes a service page convert instead of just sit there. Outside of work, she’s usually the one rewiring lamps at home instead of calling in favors, mostly out of principle. Sandra believes most electricians don’t need more work ethic, they need to be found by the people already looking for them.
